House Rules

- Please observe the estate speed limit of 30Kms per hour and children, pedestrians have right of way.
- Please observe quiet hours, which are between 22:00 and 07:00 daily.
- Small breed pets by prior arrangement and when walking in the estate, they must be on a leash at all times.
- Pet excrement should be picked up and we do provide a “poop scooper” for convenience. Please then tie the plastic bag tightly and simply dispose of in the wheelie bin.
- we have provided for recycling of plastic, paper and glass (encouraged) in the clear plastic bagged bin in the scullery. Normal black bag refuse please place in the wheelie bin on exit and leave the recycling in the bin provided.
- Hessequa Municipal bylaws strictly prohibit the use of firecrackers and fireworks in Witsand.
- Consumption of alcohol in the common areas of the estate is prohibited.
- The gate is opened with a remote which is provided after checkin, and t the gate will open automatically on exit. Only one vehicle at a time may enter/exit the gate and tailgating is prohibited.
- Please leave the gate remote in the kitchen counter basket on exit.
