Slightly out-of-the-way gem. Henry and his wife have a gem. The guest house is slightly out of the way, and one has to go there almost on purpose. Their service is excellent, and their hospitality is something that is rare these days. The lodge is located near Rietoog. The infrastructure in the area is a bit primitive but the guest house has everything you need. I kept Henry updated on our progress along the way and I was confident he would bring help if we picked up any problems. Fortunately, it was not necessary. We slept well, the bathroom was more than big enough and our car was safe on the farm. We were able to travel on again the next morning without any drama. Many thanks to Tismaree!

Best chef in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tismaree Guestfarm. We were a family of five, including two teenagers, who stayed for one night. The warm, receptive owner went out of his way to prepare a delicious dinner for me and the family. The food was prepared quickly and it was one of the best meals I've had in Namibia. I recommend this place.
