Washing machines 3 kg and smaller are allowed. Use water sparingly, due to water scarcity.
There is a large laundry at Mountain View B&B at 15 Albertstraat, Ladismith, with very reasonable rates.
Solar energy is mainly used.
Please use electrical power after sundown, especially at times of load shedding.
Please do not feed the host's dogs.
