The understated elegance and charm of Tsanana Log Cabins & Mulberry Lane Suites offer guests complete privacy to enjoy a peaceful holiday, while still feeling part of the unique atmosphere of South Africa’s only working silk farm.

The Luxury Suites are fully air-conditioned and provide an idyllic, indulgent retreat. Each suite features a private patio with a spa bath and a braai area, overlooking the indigenous forest. To ensure a tranquil and romantic escape, children are not permitted in the suites; however, they are warmly welcomed at the Log Cabins. The suites are serviced daily and include tea-and-coffee-making facilities, basic toiletries, and towels.

The Log Cabins offer a more rustic, family-friendly experience and are tastefully furnished with a distinctive Touch of Africa décor. The cabins accommodate between 2 and 11 guests and are all air-conditioned. Log Cabin 1 and the Friends & Family Log Cabin feature Jacuzzis, while Log Cabin 4 offers an outdoor spa bath. Each cabin has a private braai area and is fully equipped for self-catering. Kitchens include crockery and cutlery, a stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, and kettle. The cabins are not serviced, and towels are not provided. Tea- and coffee-making facilities and basic toiletries are supplied on arrival but are not replenished daily. To enhance the sense of escape, there are no televisions in the cabins.

Memory Lane consists of 6 self-catering units, each with a private entrance and en-suite bathroom, located within a historic 120-year-old farmhouse. These units combine old-world charm with modern comforts and are the only accommodation on the farm offering DStv.

Guests can enjoy a communal lapa area featuring a swimming pool, trampoline, and braai facilities, as well as a boma, perfect for evenings spent around the fire with friends and family. As Tsanana is the only working silk farm in South Africa, guided silk tours are available.

Additional amenities include a 3 km hiking trail through natural woodland and a helipad. Tsanana serves as the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. The Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park is just 45 km away, while the Panorama Scenic Route offers iconic attractions such as God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, spectacular waterfalls, and more.
