Warm en welkome atmosfeer.

Ons het in Upper Houghton Guesthouse gebly as gevolg van ons die Soweto Marathon en dit as 'n wegbreeknaweek gebruik. Marcus het absoluut uit sy pad gegaan om ons verblyf so gemaklik moontlik te maak. Die ontbyt was uitstekend en ek het baie van die warm atmosfeer gebou en om die gasheergesin te ontmoet. Dankie, Marcus, dat jy ons bederf het. Ek is so bly dat ons jou en jou pragtige prinses Hannah ontmoet het. Ons sal jou beslis weer kontak as ons 'n slaapplek benodig.

Warm and welcome atmosphere.

Stayed over at Upper Houghton Guesthouse due to us running the Soweto Marathon and using it as a breakaway weekend. Marcus went absolutely out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Breakfast was divine and just loved the warm atmosphere and meeting the family. Thank you, Marcus, for spoiling us. I am so glad we got to meet you and your beautiful princess Hannah. We will definitely contact you again if we need a place to stay.

Marcus is very hands-on and absolutely willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We had a very pleasant stay. Marcus is an absolute gem. It is an old but beautiful house inside. The garden needs a bit of tidying up but other than that we had a lovely stay and an excellent Breakfast. If you are looking for silence and tranquility, that is the perfect place to be!

Goeie ligging, heerlike ontbyt, vriendelike diens, goeie kommunikasie, uitstekende geriewe.

Marcus was baie behulpsaam en vriendelik, uitstekend met vooraf kommunikasie en laat gaste soos familie voel.

Warm gasvryheid.

Die huis en erf is effens verwaarloos, maar dit was een van ons lekkerste blyplekke. Só skoon en huislik. Die gasvryheid en warmte van die gasheer was ongelooflik. Regtig 'n heerlike blyplek.

Warm and welcoming.

The host and his family are wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel at home in what was a rather traumatic time for us.
