Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

A refundable breakage deposit is payable before arrival and is not included in the rate.
A rental agreement will be sent to the guest once the deposit has been paid. This document must be completed and returned before arrival.
No keys will be released without full payment and completed documentation.
The breakage deposit will be refunded approximately 14 working days after departure, less any deductions for breakages. Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit. Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform their offices immediately. The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by you. Please remember to email the host your bank account details to prevent a delay in the refund.
The maximum occupancy may not be exceeded. Failure to comply will result in eviction without refund.
No smoking is permitted inside the unit. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
A R700 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations, in addition to standard cancellation policies.
Guests should bring:
- Towels (some units provide one set)
- DStv or OpenView decoder
- Cleaning supplies and extra toilet paper (starter supply provided)
- Linen is not changed for stays under 7 nights.
Cleaning services can be arranged at an additional cost with 24 hours’ notice (not available on Sundays/public holidays).
Cleaning services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
Check-in is from 15:00.
Full payment must be received 14 days before arrival.
Keys and directions will only be provided once full payment, documents, and banking details are received.
Lost or unreturned keys will be charged.
The host is not liable for losses, inconvenience, or appliance failures beyond its control.

Cancellation Fee

In addition to the cancellation policy, a fixed R 700.00 fee applies to all cancellations.
