Top accommodation with an amazing restaurant. We stopped over at Waschbank River Lodge for just one night but wished we’d stayed longer. As a family of seven (two adults, five kids), the self-catering accommodation was well-equipped, spacious, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck for dinner. The adjoining restaurant is top quality — we had an amazing meal from there (takeaway because we arrived late) and would highly recommend it to anyone staying at WRL or even visiting the local area. The kids absolutely loved swimming in the pool that overlooks the Orange River, and the campsite toilet/changing facilities are brilliant! The restaurant deck overlooking the river is also an excellent spot for breakfast or even just chilling with a morning coffee — watching birds and monkeys go about their business. Thank you for having us; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
