House Rules

Welcome to Our Family Home! To ensure a wonderful and safe stay for everyone, please take a moment to read our house rules. By booking with us, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

1. Arrival & Departure Check-in: From 2:00 PM to 19:00 PM. Late check-in may be possible by prior arrangement for a small fee. Check-out: By 10:00 AM. This allows us time to prepare the house thoroughly for our next guests. Early/Late Requests: Please inquire in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you if possible.

2. Occupancy & Guests The maximum number of overnight guests is limited to 6 people (or the number you specified in your booking). This reservation is for the booked guests only. No parties, events, or unregistered overnight guests are permitted without prior written consent. We love that you want to have visitors! Please let us know in advance if you are expecting daytime guests. All visitors must vacate the property by 9:00 PM.

3. Safety & Security No Smoking: For the safety and comfort of all our guests, this is a strictly non-smoking property. This includes the interior of the house, all bedrooms, and bathrooms. A R3000 cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found indoors. Security: Please close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the property. No Open Flames: The use of candles, incense, or any open-flame devices is strictly prohibited inside the house.

4. Swimming Pool & Garden (CRITICAL RULES) Children's Safety: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times when in the pool area. The pool safety net must be kept closed when not in use. Swim at Your Own Risk: There is no lifeguard on duty. Use of the swimming pool and surrounding area is entirely at your own risk. Glassware is strictly prohibited in the pool area. Please use the plastic cups provided. Pool Hours: To be considerate of neighbours, please keep noise to a minimum and avoid using the pool after 11:00 PM. Pool Towels: Please use the provided pool towels for the pool and garden only. Bath towels are for indoor use. Garden: Please enjoy our garden! We ask that you do not pick the flowers or damage the plants.

5. Kitchen & Appliances Please clean up after yourself. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes before check-out. Run the dishwasher on the eco-setting before you leave. Do not dispose of cooking oil, grease, or food scraps down the sink. Use the bin provided. Please turn off all appliances (oven, hob, coffee maker) after use.

6. Bathrooms To protect our septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. This includes wipes (even "flushable" ones), feminine hygiene products, and paper towels.

7. Noise & Consideration We are in a family-friendly neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise levels to a minimum during this time, especially when outside or by the pool. 8. Pets No pets allowed.

9. Garbage & Recycling Please place all trash in the designated bins on Thursday mornings. Before check-out, kindly take the main garbage and recycling bags to the large bin located in the backyard behind the garage and next to water tank.

10. Damages & Losses We understand that accidents happen. Please report any breakages or damages to us immediately so we can address them. The guest will be held responsible for any significant damage to the property or its contents, or for excessive cleaning required upon departure, and the cost may be deducted from the security deposit.

11. Wi-Fi The Wi-Fi network and password are provided in the house manual. Please use it responsibly.

12. Lost & Found We are not responsible for personal items left behind. If you realize you have forgotten something, please contact us immediately. We can arrange to return it to you at your expense. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope you have a fantastic and memorable stay!
