Bettys Bay Main Beach
Description
The small holiday town of Betty’s Bay is situated just an hour’s drive away from Cape Town, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The town is bordered by a magnificent 4km long stretch of white sandy beach, on the east of the Stony Point Penguin Colony. The beach is perfect for swimming and surfing, and dogs are allowed on the beach on leashes. While you’re here, you can enjoy the beautiful mountain backdrop with the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean before you. Fishing can be enjoyed at the end of the beach, at David Kraal’s picnic area.
