Palm Beach
Description
Palm Beach is a lovely beach located within a coastal resort just 12km from Port Edward, along KwaZulu-Natal’s Hibiscus Coast. The beach is scattered with natural rock pools and has an estuary with warm water, which makes it one of the best spots for swimming and fishing along the coast.
Activities include wind surfing, bird watching, and browsing the craft market held every Saturday morning. The nearby Umtamvuna Nature Reserve and Mpenjati River lagoon are located nearby and offer excellent walking and hiking trails. Restaurants and shops are located within walking distance of the beach. Lifeguards are on duty in season.
