Description
Thelema Mountain Vineyards is a family owned wine estate situated at the top of the Helshoogte Pass in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. Tastings are available in the winery overlooking the striking Drakenstein Mountains.
The name “Thelema†comes from a tale written by 16th century French writer Rabelais. He tells a tale of the Abbey of Thelema where people could live in freedom and were dressed in the finest satins. It was a place of lush fields, big libraries, and splendid landscapes.
