As daar dalk weer 'n koffiewinkel kan oopmaak (die vorige een het sowat 2 maande gelede gesluit omdat die eienaar in Durban gaan aftree het), asook 'n paar kuns en handwerkwinkeltjies, sal dit hopelik meer toeriste lok. Die bergpas na Harrismith (49km) het lieflike uitsigte en is heeltemal rybaar met 'n SUV (en selfs 'n sedanmotor as 'n mens versigtig is vir die slaggate plek-plek), dus is die dorpie glad nie so onbereikbaar nie. Ons beplan om definitief weer soontoe te gaan om die Verlore Vallei te besoek. "

La Bri"A shoppers dream, surrounded by beautiful mountains, lots of good places to eat at. Many and varied art galleries, my favourite is the Blue Donkey. Clementine's restaurant is excellent for dinner and Artist's Cafe a good lunch stop. A beautiful place for a weekend getaway."

Lesoba Guest Farm"Can't be too sure of what you will find in Fouriesburg. We were in need of petrol and when we arrived there we found they had none and they did not know when they would receive - typical farming town I suppose. Great butchery (Model Butchery) which sells great lamb chops and the best marinated chicken kebabs that we have ever tasted."
