Royal Coachman Lodge"Fantastiese naweekwegbreek. Die dorpie fokus op toerisme en het 'n sterk gemeenskapsgevoel. Lekker restaurante en pragtige uitsigte. Beplan egter langer reistyd na jou bestemming om rustig te reis, vir 'n veilige reis. Paaie het vreeslik baie slaggate op pad, maar is begaanbaar op 'n stadiger spoed."

Ardmore Guest Farm"It is beautiful and there is a lot to see and experience. Towering mountains and of course the chocolate shop! We had been to the birds of prey show on a previous visit and were very impressed. The municipality does need to do something about the potholes."

Cottage Pie"Clarens is 'n pragtige dorpie. Ons het op een dag vir 5 ure deur die dorpie geloop, al die winkeltjies besoek, en baie lekker geëet. Een ding wat ek sou sê, moenie voorkeur gee vir prys van kos nie. Die lekkerste etes wat ons gehad het, was ook die goedkoopste etes gewees. Die beste deel van Clarens is die uitsig wat letterlik 360 grade om die dorpie asemrowend is."

Morgenzon"Although we had visited Clarens before, it was the first time we spent more than a weekend there. We thought we might get bored after a few days but instead we discovered an amazing network of nature walks, and beautiful streams and had great fun cycling, quad biking, and trying out all the delicious treats on offer at the various restaurants and eateries. We enjoyed our stay very much and would easily go back for another extended stay."

Montusi Self-Catering Cottages"Ons wou graag die Drakensberg Pumped Storage Scheme besoek, maar die Eskom mense daar het nie gereageer op e-posse of hul telefone beantwoord nie. By ons onverwagte aankoms by die aanleg het die personeel ons meegedeel dat hulle tans nie besoekers by hierdie nasionale sleutelpunt mag ontvang nie. Ry die nasionale paaie, ons moes baie tyd afstaan aan paaie wat nie onderhou word nie. Die teerpad tussen Reitz en Kestell is baie sleg. Die grondpad tussen Vrede en Volksrust onbegaanbaar. Om 'n paar te noem."
