I recommend this accommodation if you love animals and crave a peaceful getaway. Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant. The Vuurherd unit we stayed in had a warm and earthy charm. It was also spacious with a cozy interior. During the day, the natural lighting came streaming through the skylight in the kitchen and bathroom, making it inviting. And at night, we had mood lighting, creating a very romantic ambiance. The 6-sleeper unit is close to the horse's stable, which adds to the rustic feel. The gardens are well maintained. Having your coffee on the front porch while enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountain and farm is a highlight. The hot tubs are so much fun to use, and heating up the tub is an activity in itself. Using firewood provided made it a great hands-on experience. One of the highlights was the closeness of the animals to us. They would walk right up to greet you. Just an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness and hospitality from the owner and friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing! I absolutely love it. It's worth every penny you spent. If you want a peaceful place, then that is the place for you. My 9-year-old daughter was in the hot tub from the morning to late in the evening. It was a nice experience being amongst the animals so up close. My mother absolutely enjoyed herself there; she wants me to book another stay for her.

Lovely stay. Lovely stay. The hot tub was fantastic, but the highlight was the animals roaming around and the peaceful sounds of the birds. I would highly recommend this place.

Peaceful. It was amazing with a touch of tranquillity, a family environment, kindness and peace. A little break away from normal daily life. The animals also treated us like family; they came and said hello, even the African grey parrot. So if you go, pack them in some apples and carrots.
