See above. We were quite prepared for one or two days of noise from Black Roc, next door, but when it happened for an entire week it became a bit much. The noise, the constant smell of braai, loud people, loud music. The bedding was not changed once in 12 nights either. The towels we had washed ourselves and paid the domestic helper to do this. The house is looking old and in need of renovations and paint, etc. The table tennis table was so chipped that it made the ball bounce sideways. We could not ever use the beach access gate as the local people were using just outside the house on the beach side in the bushes as a toilet. On a positive note, the house had all the amenities we needed and was very spacious. Although we were warned about the noise and crowds and we have been to Zinkwazi on numerous occasions, no one could have prepared us for what actually was happening.

Dear Alex, Thank you for your feedback; please see my response below: 1. It is unfortunately correct that this home is located next to a public park. This is clearly stated on our website. With your many visits to Zinkwazi Beach, I am surprised that you were not aware of the park's activities. Having said that, this year, with a 4-day New Year's weekend, was trying for all of us. I am sorry it was so trying for you. 2. The house is rented out as self-catering, unserviced accommodation. The maid that you rented was from an outside company, not under the control of Driftwood Estates. The company owners should have trained her accordingly, as the property has a washing machine and tumble dryer. I am sure she would have washed the linen if you had asked, or it might be worth mentioning this to the owner of the company you rented from. The same goes for the towels. 3. Yes, I agree the house does need some work, and the owners are planning some renovations in 2026. We are grateful for your feedback and will definitely bring this to the owners' attention.
