1. The primary guest must have a verified profile on AirBnB.
2. Only booked guests are allowed to sleep in the apartment. We don't accept bookings made on behalf of others
3. No firearms or weapons allowed
4. No illegal substances or illegal activities
5. We are strictly a non-smoking environment. Please be considerate for the next guest who has to contend with the smell of cigarettes. In the event that someone smokes anywhere on the property (including the stairwell), we reserve the right to levy an additional charge of R1,500 to cover the cost of having the house professionally steam cleaned.
6. Visitors: Visitors may not exceed 2 persons at any point and no visitors may stay overnight. Only booked guests may stay overnight. Should number of occupants that stay in the unit overnight exceed 2 persons, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee of R500 per extra person per night.
7. Parties, Noise & Nuisance to Neighbours No parties gatherings of any kind are permitted No loud music. Please be considerate of our neighbours and keep noise levels down. We ask that all guests observe quiet hours between 10.00pm and 7:00 am. In the event of any fine being levied by the Body Corporate, you will be liable for the cost of the fine plus R1000 handling fee.
8. Cleaning & Linen changes: The apartment is not serviced for short stays. We do not provide a laundry service for personal items. You are more than welcome to use the washing machine in the apartment to fulfil your personal requirements. There are a number of laundry services in the Benmore Center nearby the complex.
9. Cable TV & Netflix There is a very basic selection of TV channels available. We do provide Netflix for your entertainment.
10. Pre-agreed Early Check-ins, Late Check-outs & Check-in Times for Same Day Arrival Bookings Our standard check-in time is 3PM however check-in time for same day bookings is from 6pm-10pm. Check-in after 10pm is by request only as we have to make special arrangements with security to let into the building. Our standard check-out is 10am. Early Check-in & Late Check-outs need to be requested at least 48 hours in advance and are SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. We will try to accommodate early check-in and late-check-out requests where possible. This may not be possible when we have other guests departing or arriving on the same day. Please keep in mind that this listing is a private apartment and not a multi-room hotel. We generally require around 5 hours to turn the apartment between guests. Please be aware that early check-ins before 8am and late check-outs after 5pm will be charged for. Early Check-in & Late Check-outs are NOT guaranteed and can only be confirmed 24 hours prior to arrival. If you would like a guaranteed early check-in or late check-out, we will need to block out those nights in our calendar in order prevent other guests from booking those dates, in which case you will be liable for the extra night’s cost. Charges relating to unauthorised late check-out: Unauthorised late check-outs really have a negative impact on us as limits the turn-around time for the next guest’s arrival. We therefore ask that you be considerate to the next guest and adhere to your agreed check-out time. If you require a late check-out it needs to be agreed in advance and via the AirBnB messaging platform. Late check-out can only be agreed with the host directly. In the event that you remain in the unit for more than 1 hours after your scheduled check-out time, there will be R500 charge. In the event that you remain in the unit for more than 2 hours after your scheduled check-out time, you will be liable for the full nights charge. In the event that your unauthorised late check-out directly or indirectly results in next guest cancelling their booking, you will be liable for the loss that we suffer as a result of the cancellation. This may include, but not limited to, the cost next guest’s stay and/or any penalties that we have to pay to guest, AirBnB and/or other related parties.
