Loved every minute of the stay! Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful five-night stay at 31 on Witzenberg during the June holidays. The house was beautifully furnished, cosy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The attention to detail throughout the property made us feel truly welcome. From the comfortable reclining chairs on the stoep to the freshly cut flowers and complimentary bottle of wine, every touch was thoughtfully considered. One of the highlights was spending time on the stoep, which enjoys lovely morning and afternoon winter sunshine. The views are simply spectacular, overlooking the farm and surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop. We were delighted to see zebras and antelope grazing peacefully at the edge of the garden almost every day. The farm offers plenty of opportunities to walk and explore, and there are quiet stretches of road that are perfect for children to cycle safely while spotting wildlife along the way. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided a wealth of local information and recommendations, which added greatly to our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend 31 on Witzenberg to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and memorable countryside escape.

Relaxing stay, beautiful views. We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with the most beautiful view of the mountains. The kids really enjoyed the splash pool. We truly had a great time and will definitely come back again!

Absolutely amazing! We were four ladies enjoying a weekend getaway at this wonderful farm. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The fireplace warmed up the entire house, which was perfect for the chilly evenings. The mountain views surrounding the property are simply stunning. We even had Springboks visiting us outside one morning. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with all the necessary information about local events and attractions. We also visited some of the nearby wine farms. We will definitely be back!

Alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was beskikbaar in die huis. Ons kom vir seker weer kuier! Groot verrassing om Sondagoggend met sneeu op Mostertshoek en aangrensende berge wakker te word.

A great weekend away. The owner met us on arrival and showed us everything. The accommodation was cozy and very well equipped. It's very peaceful and the views were fantastic. The hosts were very pleasant.

Stunning scenery, beautiful, well equipped cottage, friendly host. Photos don't do this location justice! The stone cottage fits perfectly into the stunning scenery of the Witzenberg Mountains. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Springboks and our very friendly host who made sure we found the cottage alright and had everything we needed. The inside of the cottage is very smartly laid out, all rooms are a good size, nicely furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. The outside boasts comfortable patio furniture, a beautiful, clean and sparkling pool and, of course, a braai. There is also a TV, but we didn't use it, as no programme could have been as fascinating as watching the full moon rise over the mountains. WiFi worked well. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights' stay and hope to be back sooner rather than later.
