Nice location but the home needs upgrades. The location is great as it's easy access to the Sheffield beach. The home is cozy and has a nice holiday vibe. We feel disappointed and feel it was overcharged for a holiday home with many broken and faulty items - especially as our own homes don't even have so many issues at home and we were here for a holiday. The washing machine doesn't wash items properly clean. The dryer doesn't dry items at all - the hot/warm setting doesn't work and items take hours to dry and still come out damp and stinky. It was very frustrating especially with all the rainy days. The dishwasher's soap dispenser is broken and it doesn't wash dishes clean. The downstairs living area needs more ceiling fans - the current two fans are on one slow setting (remote is missing) and the fans look in a terrible state. The couches by the downstairs TV are very old and uncomfortable. The bottom stove does not work at all. You can't really enjoy the lovely outside veranda as there is no roof coverage. A roof with a built-in braai would really be nice. The bed in the loft needs a new mattress - it's very old and very hard/uncomfortable. The loft also needs some TLC and the deck is very neglected with exposed nails and neglected wood. It also desperately needs an aircon. The outdoor drain was blocked and caused a horrible mess. It was really gross and unhygienic. It was like that from the moment we got there. Overall we just feel going on holiday paying high seasonal rates then all items in a rental should be in good working condition. I literally didn't want to be on holiday and have to complain and report every issue non-stop with the owners. These upgrades will only be fair if you want to charge such high seasonal rates for guests who are there to relax and planned their leave in advance.

Excellent, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was very comfortable for 8 adults and 2 small children. Easy access to the beach. Very safe environment and house facilities excellent. I would recommend this property.
