Beautiful, tranquil and private. Our stay at Abbotts was really lovely. From the time we arrived, farm owners made us feel welcomed. They accommodated us to arrive a bit earlier to drop off our goodies, had the house nice and warm with a fire on our arrival, and of course, their lovely home-brewed wine provided as a treat. A great isolated spot not to far from the city but feels like you are away. Jim was a fantastic host. We were 4 couples with small kids and loved that each room had its own ensuite. Everything you needed it had. We enjoyed the fireplace the most with what felt like an unlimited supply of wood. We all agreed we would be back in the summer.

Nice weekend break with friends and family. Very convenient. Well appointed. We visited in the winter and the fireplaces (especially the Aga in the kitchen) were just magic. The pool looks amazing, but unfortunately it was mid-winter for us. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decor is beautiful and the facilities are great.
