Fantastic glamping vibe (but watch the wind!). We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The complimentary wine tasting, on-site restaurant, hiking trails, and overall glamping vibe were definite highlights! However, we were disappointed that the e-bikes were unavailable during our stay. Also, the wind made it quite difficult to sleep at night, so I would caution against booking during heavily windy weather. The wood-fired hot tub is a great feature, but it takes quite a while to get warm, so be prepared to use a lot of wood. A few suggestions for the host: it would be a fantastic idea to offer an add-on experience package—perhaps a bundle that includes hot tub wood, e-bike rentals, and a restaurant meal voucher. Also, informing guests about the expected hot tub heating time would be very helpful. Lastly, adding an outside light on the deck near the hot tub and braai area would be a great improvement.

Family friendly getaway. Amazing family stay at Doolhof Meadows. Tents have previously stayed at Stanford Africamps, but this is by far more kid friendly. We were happy to have been hosted by JC and Ray, who were friendly and welcoming from the start. The unit was perfectly sized and spacious. The only thing that was a problem was a faulty lock and perhaps the need for a bit of a better clean prior to our arrival. Will definitely return for another stay!

Perfekte verblyf. Dit was 'n ongelooflike mooi AfriCamps, met die mooiste uitsig en 'n groen grasperk. Die kinders het baljaar in die rivier voor die eenhede. Ons het 'n heerlike middagete by die wynplaas se restaurant geniet en die kos was tops. Ons sal vir seker weer daar wil gaan kuier, met die luukse tente wat skoon en perfek ingerig was.
