Amber Moon is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. It offers unbeatable value for money and the absolute best hospitality. From the moment we arrived, our host was an absolute delight—warm, welcoming, and incredibly informative. She took the time to walk us through the space, ensuring we knew how everything worked, making us feel right at home. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Hartbeespoort Dam. The Jacuzzi and bath are positioned perfectly by the window, offering a stunning panoramic view. The massive balcony is another standout feature, allowing you to take in the beauty of the dam, whether you’re lounging outside or simply relaxing in bed with the doors wide open. It truly is a mesmerizing sight. The attention to detail at Amber Moon is exceptional. The luxurious king-size bed gives off true hotel vibes, and the thoughtful touches—like Lindt chocolates on the pillows and chocolate muffins upon arrival—made the experience even more special. The guesthouse is fully equipped for self-catering, with everything you could possibly need, from cookware to essentials like coffee, sugar, salt, and pepper. While tap water in Hartbeespoort isn’t drinkable, our host even provided us with filtered water, which was a great touch. Beyond her already outstanding hospitality, she went the extra mile to help me pull off a special surprise for my wife on Valentine’s Day. She went out of her way to get a bottle of champagne for us, leaving it chilled in the fridge, and even picked roses from the garden, turning them into delicate petals that she beautifully spread all over the bed. It was incredibly thoughtful and made our stay even more magical. Another huge plus is that Amber Moon is located within a secure estate. It’s a proper housing estate with excellent security, which made us feel completely safe throughout our stay. The security is absolutely spot-on, giving us peace of mind while we enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with stunning views, top-tier hospitality, and top-notch security, Amber Moon is the place to be. Highly recommended!

A must visit. Pearl is a wonderful host. She made our stay very special. Amber Moon has breathtaking views and is in a very safe location. It has excellent facilities and is very clean and well-maintained. We wish we could have stayed for longer.
