Perfect stay at great value. Situated on a truly beautiful farm. Check-in and comms could not be faulted. Amazing views of the farm and greater Hemel en Aarde Valley. Wonderful wine farms a few km down the road. My family and I will definitely be back.

Not a good experience, and would not recommend. Our experience was below expectations. We were two friends in our seventies — not feeble, but looking for a comfortable stay. The accommodation notes on the website stated that the two-bedroom cottage had a main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom containing a shower. This was not the case. Instead, there was only an outside shower, which was neither suitable nor comfortable to use on the cold, windy afternoon of our stay. Both en-suite bathrooms only had baths, which were not easy or practical for us to get into and out of. The cottage runs on gas for cooking and for water heating, but the connected gas cylinder was practically empty and finally ran out when we ran the baths. Although switching to the second cylinder was simple, the hosts should have checked this before our arrival. The website also mentioned that we would be met by the hosts and provided with the keys. This did not happen. Instead, phone calls were required to open the access gate, and then we had to be told the code for the key box at the cottage. We were told we were supposed to receive the access code beforehand, but we did not. There were also no small milk portions for tea or coffee. Altogether, a number of small issues added up, and for the price paid, the experience was well below what we expected.
