BassFeather Country Lodge is a peaceful resort located just 9 km outside of Reitz in the Free State, along the Warden Road. With spacious chalets and a variety of camping options, the lodge is ideal for families, groups of friends, or couples looking for a relaxing countryside getaway.
The property offers 8 comfortably furnished chalets that can sleep either 4 or 6 guests. Each chalet is equipped with a television, stove, fridge, and microwave. The 4-sleeper chalets feature 4 single beds that can be arranged to suit guests’ needs, while the 6-sleeper chalets include a bedroom with a double bed and 4 single beds upstairs.
For those who prefer the outdoors, the lodge has well-maintained camping sites situated either near the water’s edge or tucked under shady trees, all within close reach of neat and clean bathroom facilities. Guests who would like to camp but don’t have their gear can book one of the comfortable luxury tents available on-site.
Guests can spend their days cooling off in the large swimming pool, making use of the braai facilities, or exploring the great outdoors. Activities on offer include fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and seasonal hunting. BassFeather Country Lodge also boasts a wedding and function venue, making it a versatile destination for both leisure and special occasions.
