Beautiful place, beautiful view, just too many flies that were super irritating. The Peppermint Box is beautiful and has a beautiful view. It was very hot and we asked for another fan seeing that there was just one in the whole house and we were two couples, but they told us they only have one. Everything was beautiful except that there were non-stop flies, hence also the request for another fan. I've literally sprayed Doom and closed our door, and there were about 20+ dead flies in our room. Had we known that the flies were such an issue, we would not have booked seeing that it really spoiled the weekend for all four of us. The owner did install a fly machine on the Sunday; we booked for a long weekend, but that made no difference unfortunately.
