Berseba Plaaskothuis is nestled on a farm between Sutherland and Fraserburg and offers self-catering accommodation for 4 guests. The farm is 60km from Sutherland, of which 50 km is gravel road, and it is 63 kilometres of gravel road from Fraserburg.
The cottage, located approximately 500 metres from the main farmhouse, comprises 2 bedrooms which share the use of a bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
The kitchen and living area is equipped with a 4-plate gas stove, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery, cutlery, and a 4-seater dining table. The cottage does not have an oven. There is also a fireplace for which wood is provided in the winter.
There are lovely, covered braai facilities available for guests’ use during their stay as well as a fire pit where guests can sit and enjoy the stars during the evenings.
The cottage is fenced and small dogs are allowed if arranged beforehand. Dogs must be under the supervision of their owners at all times.
The cottage has lighting available, however, it does not have electricity. Guests can bring their camp fridge, but fridge and freezer space is also available at the main house. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.
