Lovely getaway for the family! This is the second time we stayed at Black Eagles and as memorable as the first time! The views are spectacular, the rooms and bathrooms are so lovely, and the lounge where you can play board games and put on a fireplace! The kolkol is so relaxing and the whole family can get in. Lucy is wonderful!

Most spectacular view. What a beautiful setting, the most amazing view. We also had a windstill day in August, which was so perfect, and will definitely go there again. It was just a little bit hard with one-year-old twins because the kitchen doesn't have closed cabinets, so we had to pack everything up high. But that's my bad; I didn't notice when booking. However, that really isn't a problem. It was such a nice weekend, and our parents enjoyed it so much!

A truly special place and incredible stay. We had an incredible time, the lodge was amazing and the location breathtaking. Our only challenge was the hot tub and getting it warm. I think the tub might be too deep and the volume of water too much for the heating to be effective.

Wonderfully peaceful. Just what we needed. Stay was awesome. The scenery is gorgeous. Views for days. We really enjoyed the hot tub (could do with a windbreaker perhaps to shield from the wind). Would also recommend a wonderbag as a handy addition in the kitchen. Apart from the very small dinner table, the space was cosy and really lovely.
