Blesberg Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on a picturesque 300-hectare working dairy farm set within 4 hectares of lush grounds in the Midlands, approximately 25 km from central Howick. The property provides a tranquil farm-stay experience, ideal for guests seeking a break from busy city life.
Accommodation is provided in cottages and a manor house, accommodating various guest capacities. Each unit comprises separate bedrooms furnished with comfortable beds and private bathrooms fitted with either a bath and shower or a shower only.
The units contain a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette fitted with standard cooking appliances. Fireplaces and private braai facilities are also provided. Bed linen is supplied, while guests are required to bring their own towels, toiletries, food, drinks, and charcoal. Selected units do not have TVs or Wi-Fi, while the Manor House and Farmstead provide Wi-Fi and DSTV access.
The property offers a range of outdoor activities and natural surroundings for guests to enjoy. Walking trails are available around the farm, and guests may swim in the dam or make use of the zipline into the water. Small boats are available for paddling, and the area supports activities such as stargazing, bird watching, wildlife observation, and mountain biking along farm trails.
A variety of wildlife species may be observed on the property, including duiker, bushbuck, oribi, waterbuck, hares, genets, mongoose, porcupines, black-backed jackal, and otters, contributing to the natural farm experience.
