Ek en my honde het 'n heerlike naweek in Stanford gehad. Mens sukkel gewoonlik om plekkies te vind wat behoorlik dierevriendelik is. B's Cottage het alles wat mens nodig het, en dit is behoorlik omhein vir troeteldiere. Die kothuis en tuin is pragtig, en mens kan nie anders as om te ontspan nie. 'n Baie vriendelik en behulpsame gasvrou. Ek beveel B's Cottage hoog aan!

B'Cottage is 'n pophuis in 'n baie mooi dorpie. Heerlike kuier!

B's Cottage is die mooiste grasdakhuisie, goed toegerus met alles wat nodig is. Daarby is Stanford 'n pragtige dorpie, en ons gasvrou het dubbel seker gemaak dat alles reg is en ons alles gehad het wat nodig is. Die naweek was 'n heerlike wegbreek.

A beautiful cottage in a great town. The host was friendly and helpful. I recommend B's Cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxed weekend.

Quiet and restful.

Anice's little cottage should be aired a little more before guests arrive to get rid of the musty smell. Otherwise perfect.

Ideally located cottage, comfortable and cosy.

B's Cottage is a lovely heritage cottage located right on the village green, within walking distance of restaurants and shops and the village walking path. It is comfortable and cosy with many thoughtful touches. Bea and her friend, Pam, are great hosts, quick to help with advice and local knowledge.

Die mense van die dorpie is vriendelik en ons het klein plasies in die omgewing besoek. Nog ander klomp dinge ook gedoen.

Charming cottage, pet-friendly, great location.

Stanford is a small town, everything is within walking distance, but the cottage is in a great location neither too close nor too far from the centre. The Garden was well-laid out. The hosts allowed pets so we were able to bring our dogs.

Cosy, romantic, intimate, beautiful, quaint, bright, warm.

Our first impression was the feeling of arriving to a home away from home. So beautiful, cozy, colourful and quaint. Flowers everywhere, a manicured garden, everything in its perfect place. There were small touches of love and care all over. The fresh flowers on the table picked from the garden especially! We were greeted by such a friendly host which made everything that much more exciting. Our favourite part was the fireplace in the lounge. It was just lovely! We went out to dinner around the corner at Searles - loved it! But honestly couldn't wait to get back home to the fireplace with a glass of red wine. We heard loud music coming from a nearby house we think, but we played our own soft music which drowned it out completely. We enjoyed the cottage so much that we ended up talking by the fire all night and sleeping through our alarms (the bed is so comfy with an electric blanket) and missed our shark cage diving the next day. Oops! Luckily they said we could go another time. We would 100% recommend B's cottage and can't wait to come back. We also saw a little garden outside for pets, nice and enclosed. Also a lovely outside braai area. We didn't use this area though but will definitely next time.

Rustig, netjies, met alles wat nodig is, alle geriewe.

B's Cottage is 'n ware wegbreek - weg van alles, rustig, baie netjies, met puik diens deur die eienaars. Die WiFi (wat vir ons belangrik is) werk uitstekend. Die braaiplek is lekker en beskut, die kaggel in die sitkamer is heerlik. Die tuin is 'n lushof. Ons het veilig gevoel en is vriendelik en warm ontvang. Baie dankie!

Dit was 'n baie koue naweek, maar die kaggel het heerlik warm gemaak. Pragtige tuin.

Beautiful cottage, not as peaceful as we hoped.

B's Cottage is a wonderful winter getaway. The cottage has everything you'd need, is centrally located in Stanford and has a beautiful garden. However, we struggled to sleep both nights. On the last Friday of every month Stanford has a night market, which takes place right across the road on the village green. The cottage is also unfortunately located in that it is within hearing distance of the local settlement. We went to bed with the sound of big parties and loud music. Surprisingly, we could also hear the main R45 road quite clearly from the bedroom. Stanford was beautiful, especially the river walk.

Was lovely!

The cottage was nice, it's a bit dated, but has everything you need, and great that it was fenced in for my dog. The shower head needs replacing as it just sprays all over the place. The wind created a lot of dust and insects upstairs which came through the thatch, which made it unpleasant to sleep. I didn't enjoy the thatch, especially in the small space upstairs.

Die huis is groter as wat dit lyk op die foto's en is baie "charming" en netjies. Die tuin is pragtig en perfek vir lui aande onder die bome in die somer - die huis self is ook verbasend koel in die somer. Dit het alles wat jy nodig het vir 'n naweekwegbreek en is baie sentraal.

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

The cottage was well equipped with all the required appliances to make your stay an enjoyable one. The close proximity to the village also made it extremely convenient for shopping and access to the walking trails.

Pragtige pophuisie in pragtige dorpie.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier en dis so gerieflik dat Stanford so hondevriendelik is. Phantom het al die stappaaie omtrent geniet. Die dorp se tuine was middel-November steeds 'n lus om te aanskou.

What a quaint little cottage with a most beautiful garden. We had a delightful time. The cottage is extremely neat, and well equipped with all necessities. Location is superb and in walking distance of all attractions. My first visit to Stanford and I was pleasantly impressed. I would certainly opt for no other accommodation but B's.

'n Nag of twee in die verlede. 'n Popmooi huisie met eie tuin in die toeristemekka van Stanford. Die tuin en huis is uit 'n storieboek.

Beste ligging en verblyf in die middel van die toerisme area.

Relaxing, peaceful cottage.

Really enjoyed our stay and exploring Stanford. The cottage was quaint and well equipped even with brochures about the village. Loved the Wandelpad and the restaurants, especially the Italian restaurant. We will be back.

Heerlike aand se oorslaap. Presies wat ons verwag het.

Ons het ’n motorfietsuitstappie gegaan en net so met ons klere opgedaag. Die kombuis het alles gehad wat ons nodig gehad het om heerlik te braai. Ons kon stap nie die winkel en aandete koop. Baie sentraal geleë en dit was baie skoon en oulik.

Pragtige kothuis in die hartjie van Stanford

Dit is al ons derde besoek aan B's Cottage. Die cottage is perfek vir 2 mense en die lekker groot tuin 'n plesier vir die hondekinders. Alles in McGregor binne loopafstand en die kothuis het alles wat mens moontlik kan nodig kry.

Interessante en rustige verblyf in die mooi Stanford.

Ons het heerlik in B's Cottage gebly, met meer as voldoende geriewe vir selfsorg. Ons kon stap na die winkeltjies, eetplekke en selfs die bootrit op Eersterivier.

Hoogs bevredigend.

Die akkommodasie is idillies, goed versorg, rustig, goed geleë en hoogs aanbevole. Die gasheer en -vrou was baie behulpsaam en vriendelik, selfs toe ek per abuis my datums verkeerd gehad het! Vyfster!

Ten sterkste aanbeveel aan toekomstige gaste.

Was heerlik. Die dorpie se geraas op 'n Saterdagaand was net steurend, maar die plekkie is pragtig.

Bea is dierbaar. Baie dankie vir jou hulp en vriendelikheid. Jul plekkie is baie oulik. Ons het dit geweldig geniet.

It's a lovely little cottage with a beautiful garden. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Tranquil cottage, well-appointed, with many personal touches, in a picture-book setting.

I enjoyed spending time here, and would love to return. The cottage, garden, village and environment are perfect for relaxing and recharging the batteries!
