Castle House – Guest Guidelines
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, please note the following:
Community & Noise
No parties, functions, or loud music. Koringberg is a peaceful, close-knit community — please be mindful of noise, especially in the evenings.
Occupancy
Only booked guests may stay overnight. No additional overnight visitors without prior approval.
Portable Pool & Water Feature
The portable pool (summer only) must be kept clean and covered when not in use. Children must be supervised at all times.
If using the water feature, ensure water levels remain adequate to protect the pump.
Septic System
Do not flush wipes, sanitary products, or foreign objects. Reasonable access may be required for municipal servicing (notice given where possible).
Utilities
Reasonable water and electricity use is included. Excessive usage may incur additional charges.
Smoking
No smoking or vaping indoors.
Breakages
Please report any damages. A refundable breakage deposit may apply to long stays.
Maintenance & Garden
Occasional access may be required for maintenance or garden care (up to twice weekly in summer, with notice where possible).
Checkout
Place used towels in the laundry basket.
Dispose of rubbish in the municipal bin.
Switch off lights, fans, water feature, and mosquito light.
Leave beds unmade.
Douse coals completely.
Lock all doors and the main gate.
Cover the pool (if used) and return outdoor cushions inside.
Lock the Sand House and return the key to its holder.
Castle House cannot accept liability for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.
