Mount Rose is a well-appointed holiday home situated in Clarens, offering peaceful surroundings and scenic mountain views. The property is located within close proximity to the Clarens CBD, where a variety of restaurants, shops, and coffee shops can be found. Built in the 1960s as a family holiday home, the house retains its original character and features warm wooden finishes and soft furnishings, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms, with bedrooms made available according to the number of guests booked. The main bedroom, Peace, is located on the upper level and is furnished with a queen-size bed, dressing table, and ample built-in cupboards. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a corner bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided, and the room opens onto a private balcony offering expansive mountain views. The second bedroom, Faith, is situated on the middle level and is furnished with a double bed and classic-style furniture. This room has both internal and external access, while the en-suite bathroom, fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet, is located in the adjoining passage. The third bedroom, Love, is also on the middle level and contains a queen-size bed, occasional seating, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet, with private access to the back garden. The fourth bedroom, Joy, is located on the lower level and is furnished with 2 three-quarter beds, a cupboard, and a bedside table. This room shares one of the other bathrooms for showering and has access to a guest toilet with a basin. Double doors open onto the garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The open-plan lounge and dining area features 2 dining tables, multiple couches, a smart TV, and a large wood-burning fireplace. Free unlimited Wi-Fi access is available. Double doors open onto a spacious covered verandah furnished with an 8-seater table and bench seating, offering unobstructed mountain views.
Access to the house is through the double garage, which is operated by remote control. The burglar alarm system also functions via remote and includes a panic button linked to armed response services operating 24 hours a day. The garden is enclosed with fencing and boundary walls, providing a secure outdoor area for guests.
