Great ocean views. Very short walk to private beach and Marina swimming beach. House is comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Nearby drives to the Waffle House and crocodile park. Decent fishing also. Friendly host and helpers. House was cleaned daily.

Best accommodation ever. We had the best time, Roxy the caretaker is like a granny next door, so welcoming and friendly. Lovely view and quiet beach, the staff are so friendly. We had absolutely zero complaints.

Dit was absoluut hemel op aarde. Uitsig pragtig! Cottage Abigail was perfek vir ons. Alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was daar, eetgerei, beddegoed, en nog vele meer. Alles skoon en netjies. Roxy was 'n baie goeie gasvrou, het gehelp met inligting oor die omgewing en was baie behulpsaam en bedagsaam.

Wonderful getaway. Relaxing, enjoyable, friendly hosts, breathtaking views of the sea, morning beach walks and great security.

Perfectly cosy and lovely. It is a relaxing haven on the ocean's doorstep, a beautiful place to stay when you desire a tranquil escape from busy life.

Stunning. We loved our time at Abigail's Cottage, we wish we could have stayed longer. We loved that it was so close to the beach and we had a sea view. Hope to be back another time.

WiFi. While the location and view were very nice, we encountered a problem upon check-in. There is no WiFi in this cottage. It was not advertised either with or without WiFi, and we stayed in cottage David 6 months prior and there was WiFi. The property manager was not on site; however, her husband/partner was, and he said he would speak to her about the issues. Two days into a three-night stay, she said there was nothing she could do. After a detailed conversation late in the evening, she said she would speak to the property owner about the issue. This is not a complaint about the property; even though the cottage is very outdated, it is about how the matter was handled. Promises were made but not kept. Transparency was not high on the list, and communication about the issue was not prioritised. Stopping by late at night two nights into a three-night stay unannounced is not the most ideal. While the matter was resolved, it was how the matter was handled that is the issue. Best to look elsewhere in today's technology-savvy world.

Short stay very good. Very good! Will be going back.
