Fairbairn Guest Farm is situated 14 km outside of Maclear, Eastern Cape, just off the R396. It is the ideal place for guests to soak up the serenity and experience authentic farm life.

The accommodation includes 6 units. There are 2 en-suite bedrooms situated in the Main House with access to a communal lounge area with full DStv, a fully equipped farm-style kitchen, a dining room, and a patio.

There is a Little and Large Rondavel which each have their own kitchenettes. The Cottages share a bathroom and a kitchenette. Each room can accommodate at least 2 guests. The units are serviced daily, and Wi-Fi is available.

All guests have access to the family braai room which comprises indoor braai facilities, a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable dining area, and includes full DStv. This room can double as a small-conferencing or seminar venue. Dinner and breakfast is available on request at an additional fee per person.

The farm offers refreshing spring water throughout and in no short supply. The patios at the Main House, The Cottage and Large Rondavel boast beautiful views of the sprawling gardens and meadows where sheep, cattle and horses roam freely; bird-life also abounds. The mountains and breath-taking scenery is topped with snow in winter, and covered with nature's green in summer.

Streams filled with trout flow through the countryside and there are a number of hiking trails for the explorer at heart. For those looking for arts and culture, San Rock Art can be seen in a few caves on Fairbairn Kop and exquisite paintings are to be found in numerous nearby sites.
