Finfoot Lake Reserve - Dream Resorts is situated adjacent to Vaalkop Dam, within the Greater Pilanesberg area. The lodge is naturally crafted from wood and thatch, complementing the surrounding woodlands and foliage. It is a much-needed slice of peace and quiet for travellers seeking to escape the urban jungle.
The accommodation comprises a variety of chalets, luxury tents and a self-catering villa. The air-conditioned chalets can accommodate 2 guests in each and feature private, en-suite bathrooms with both shower and bath facilities.
The Villa comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 loft area that can accommodate 4 adults and 6 children. It comprises a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, as well as a wraparound deck with a small plunge pool.
Of the 2 Luxury Safari Tents, 1 can accommodate 6 guests and 1 can accommodate 4 guests. These tents each comprise a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan lounge, a splash pool and a braai area.
At the main hub of Finfoot Lake Reserve is a large thatched Lapa; this open-sided breezy building offers cosy lounge areas, a dining area, and a sun deck with plenty of seating. On-site facilities include 2 swimming pools, secure parking, and a selection of superb home-made cuisine which guests can enjoy under the stars or in the thatched dining areas. Conference facilities are available for up to 60 delegates.
Activities and attractions include canoeing, fishing, barge cruises, game drives, extraordinary bird watching of over 400 species, guided bush walks or simply relaxing at the rock pool.
