Trompsburg is a nice surprise. Fox Den Guest House was our stopover between the coast and home. The unit was comfortable for a group of 5. Coffee, muffins and cereal were in the unit so that we could have a quick breakfast before leaving. I will definitely stay there again if wanting to break the long trip.

Short and sweet with some furballs for company. Perfect fit for our needs. Breakfast snacks available for a quick and easy early start. Friendly neighbourhood cats (great for keeping mice and other critters away). Area is warm, even at night, provided fans did the job to keep a cool breeze blowing. Recommended.

Perfect overnight spot between the Cape and Pretoria. Host received us very kindly, helped unload and made sure we had everything we needed. We slept well and drank coffee in the garden in the morning while sitting and listening to the birds. Truly an oasis on the long road.
