Had a wonderful stay! ️. We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and inviting stay.

Cosy and enjoyable. We enjoyed the place except for the train movements during the day.

Comfortable but noisy. Very clean accommodation and well equipped. The owner very kindly let us book in an hour before to suit my business appointment. Please take note of the owner's warning on the listing. The accommodation is situated on a railway line which is extremely noisy. My wife and 2 small dogs struggled with the noise and vibration of passing trains. The accommodation is very secure, but the area is deteriorating with a taxi rank just around the corner and homeless people and their trolleys frequently seen on Strubens Road.

Not on the Website's standards at all. I had a very bad check-in experience. The owner provided the wrong code for the key box. The instructions to find the key box were unclear — it is not located outside the gate; it is inside the gate. It looks like part of the gate mechanism and is not easily reachable through the gate. When I phoned the owner to ask for assistance, she did not answer her phone. I made several calls before contacting the website. The website also struggled to get hold of her. When she eventually called, she informed me that she would be home at about 18:45. The first time I tried to call her was at 17:18. Somehow, she did not care that her guest was standing in the street for more than an hour — where it is not safe to have a key box on the outside of the gate. I eventually got in with the neighbour’s help, who uses the same driveway, and she sent the correct code for the box. When the owner arrived back home, she did not come to check in with me — she only appeared when I fetched a food delivery at the gate. Also, the whole house and the neighbour's house have Spanish burglar bars on all windows, and even the doors are fortified; however, where I stayed there were no burglar bars at all. Only the kitchen door had a security door. There are no curtains or blinds on the bathroom and kitchen windows, and the lounge area only has a net curtain — no privacy there. They made a great effort with décor, and it was clean, but I don’t think this owner understands hospitality at all.
