Will definitely be back. A beautiful tranquil place. Extremely close to Sun City. The people are very kind, helpful, friendly, and the food is delicious. Definitely a recommended place to stay.

It was suitable and closer to our destination, Sun City. Stay was excellent. It was quiet at night; we slept well. Room clean. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly. The swimming pool was clean. I love trees because in the Free State there are no mango and avocado trees. Closer to Sun City. Safe too.

Insufficient. We have stayed at Gtz before, which is why we chose to book again. However, this time around we learnt that, at full capacity, the guesthouse is unfortunately not equipped for big groups. From the booking amendments we needed, we struggled to get communication from the host property. Calls and texts alike were not responded to, so we had to reach out to the website for assistance. When we checked in, not all the rooms had been prepared, and some beds only had a fitted cover with no other proper bedding supplied. One of the room’s sliding doors locked when it was closed, and we had to call security to assist with opening the room. They had to remove the sliding door frame so security could get in and unlock the sliding door from the inside. The rooms were dusty, had cobwebs, and dirt was under the beds, which we discovered when we dropped something on the floor. There was construction or maintenance happening in one section of the main buildings, and we were not notified, so a staff member woke up to loud footsteps in the early morning and her air-conditioner leaked onto the counter. The breakfast was fine, but they were not prepared for a large group breakfast. There was no one to assist with check-out and handing over of keys, and we also had a language barrier with the night staff/reservationist. This stay was a major contrast to when we had first stayed at Gtz, which is why it is so unpleasant to have to write a negative review like this. Hopefully, it was just a bad day, but it unfortunately doesn’t excuse the lack of service experienced on any level.

Unprofessional. The stay was unprofessional. People kept knocking for the wrong person, causing constant disturbance and a restless night.
