House Rules
Recreational Liability (Use at Own Risk)
Pool, Jacuzzi & Jungle Gym: The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and children's
Jungle Gyms are strictly used at the guest's own risk.
No Supervision: There are no lifeguards on duty. Children must be
accompanied and supervised by a competent adult at all times when using
the Jungle Gym or the swimming areas.
Safety: For safety reasons, no glass bottles or glassware are allowed in or around the pool/Jacuzzi area.
Indemnity: Golden Grass Retreat accepts no liability for any injury, accident, or death that occurs on these recreational facilities.
Koi Pond: Please do not feed the fish in the outdoor Koi pond. They are on
A strict diet and unauthorised feeding can harm them.
Saltwater Tank: Tampering with the saltwater fish tank inside is strictly prohibited. This is a sensitive, controlled ecosystem; touching the glass,
water, or equipment, can cause the system to crash.
Liability: Guests will be held liable for the replacement cost of any fish or equipment damaged due to tampering, tapping on glass, or unauthorized
feeding.
Non-Smoking Interior: Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vapes) is strictly
prohibited inside the house.
* Designated Areas: Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Please use the provided ashtrays.
* Fines: A cleaning fine will be charged if smoking is detected inside. The
person/company who made the booking is responsible for this fee.
4. Pet Policy
* Welcome: We are a pet-friendly establishment!
* Responsibility: Owners are fully responsible for their pets. Please ensure
they do not disturb other guests or wildlife.
* Cleanliness: Guests must clean up after their pets immediately.
* Damages: Any damage caused by pets (chewing, scratching, or soiling) to
furniture, bedding, or the grounds will be charged to the guest's account.
5. Fireworks & Wildlife
* Strict Prohibition: The use of fireworks or Chinese lanterns is strictly
prohibited on the property.
* Consequences: This rule is in place to prevent fire hazards and protect our
wildlife. Guests will be held accountable for any environmental damage or
wildlife loss resulting from fireworks.
6. Damages & Breakages
* Vandalism: Vandalism or intentional damage to property will not be
tolerated.
* Repairs: Guests will be fined accordingly to cover the full cost of repairs or
replacements for any damage caused during their stay.
7. Restricted Areas & Vehicles
* Motor Vehicles: None of the property’s private motor vehicles, farm
equipment, or machinery are allowed to be used by guests.
* Permission: Exceptions are only made if the owner gives permission in
writing.
