Kalahari @ Kathu Gastehuis is ideally located for exploring Upington, Postmasburg, Kathu, Hotazel, Kuruman, and Kimberley, and offers comfortably furnished rooms.
Accommodation comprises three rooms, each with a private entrance. The rooms are furnished with double beds and feature en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, with one room also including a bath. Air-conditioning, TVs with DStv, Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided. Rooms are serviced daily, except Sundays, and breakfast is available on request at an additional cost.
Breakfast and home-cooked dinners can be arranged on request. The guestrooms overlook the hunting estate, where guests may see kudu and gemsbok in the early morning or at dusk.
The guesthouse is powered by solar energy, providing support during load-shedding, and a water pressure system ensures guests have everything needed during their stay. Visitors can explore nearby attractions such as Wonderwerk Cave, Boesmansgat Sinkhole, the Moffat Mission Station, and various 4x4 trails in the area.
