Excellent friendly and safe environment. The host was very friendly and welcomed me in a good manner. The room was very clean. The only thing needed in the room was a chair to sit on.

Pleasant, relaxed, comfortable and felt like home away from home. Great host, friendly and willing to assist. Keeps the guests updated regarding info that might affect the stay, for example, to assist during loadshedding.

Good. The stay was beautiful. The only thing that needs improvement is the shower head; the water is all over and made it hard to take a shower. The network is also a problem.

See above. Pleasant accommodation and good value. The only drawback was traffic noise. The place is right on the M3, one of Cape Town's busiest arteries. Traffic does subside after 9ish pm, but around midnight onwards, the motorway can become an illegal drag-racing venue. The owners are very kind and helpful.

Pleasant. Very friendly and helpful hosts, you get a clean room, WiFi, it's right against a busy roadway so for some that may be an issue but the accessibility was what I was looking for.

Uncomfortable stay, we won't be back. The room was small and poorly furnished, i.e. no side tables for the bed, the hinges on the door were old and broken so the door had to be lifted to open and close, the bed was reasonably comfortable but had old lumpy pillows that made it difficult to sleep. The shower was fitted with a water-saving shower head that hardly allowed any water through, and if the taps were opened, the jets of water were painful on the skin. The windows had broken Venetian blinds that supplied only partial privacy - especially when the early rising occupants of the adjacent room came and stood right there for an early morning cigarette and loud conversation. The room was at the end of an alleyway that had previously been a narrow driveway between buildings, and you had to make your way through a gate that jammed, then between water tanks, pipes and air conditioners to the entrance.
