Amazing. I recently stayed at KraalHaus in Hekpoort, and it was exactly the kind of escape I didn’t realise I needed. From the moment I arrived, everything just felt calm and intentional — the space is beautifully designed, with a modern yet earthy feel that blends perfectly into the surroundings. What stood out the most for me was how peaceful it is. You’re completely surrounded by nature, and it really feels like you can switch off from everything. I spent most of my time just soaking in the quiet, enjoying the views, and making the most of the outdoor spaces. The wood-fired hot tub was definitely a highlight — sitting there in the evening, with nothing but the sounds of nature around, was unforgettable. Inside, the house is cozy but well thought out. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I appreciated the little touches that made it feel special rather than just another rental. It’s not a place for a busy, activity-packed trip — it’s more about slowing down, which was exactly what I was looking for. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s quite remote, so you need to come prepared with food and essentials. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. Overall, my stay at KraalHaus felt like a proper reset. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic, or solo getaway where you can truly unwind.

Pragtig, skoon en netjies, perfek ingerig! Die perfekte wegbreek plekkie! Ongelooflik, kalm en rustig met pragtige natuurskoon. Eienaars is ongelooflik vriendelik en behulpsaam en het 'n plekkie geskep waar ons heerlik in die natuur kon ontspan.
