Description
Laid Back Family Beach House is a self-catering family holiday house ideally situated in Port Alfred in a quiet street overlooking the ocean. The house is approximately a 1 minute stroll to the Shelley Beach, and a 4 minute walk to Kelly’s Beach, ideal for surfing, rock pool exploring, walking, fishing, or shell collecting. The house is ideal for a group of friends and family members, and while it is not extremely luxurious, it has everything you may need for good vibes and a fun holiday.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and a second lounge area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the third bedroom contains a double bed. The second bathroom contains a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas stove and gas oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a laundry area. The dining area features a 6-seater dining table (there are extra chairs to seat 8). The first lounge contains comfy seating, a TV, and a fireplace. Off the dining area is the second lounge which contains seating and 2 additional single beds.
The living area opens to a covered patio with outdoor seating, outdoor dining furniture, a built-in braai, and partial sea views. There is a spacious garden where kids can play, and the street is very quiet so kids can ride and skateboard, or even play bat and ball.
Shaded carport parking is available on the premises. The house has an alarm and is linked to 24-hour secure response.
Free Wi-Fi is provided, with a backup UPS for load shedding. To make use of the DStv, guests need to bring their own decoder, smart card, cables and remote plug-and-play or connect with Wi-Fi to watch Netflix. No beach towels are provided.
