Decent stay. Very good communication from the owner; however, the kitchen stuff was quite dirty.

Not worth the money. The house looks great, but the main things you go there for (pool, hot tub, being on the water, outside areas) are just not very usable due to all of the bugs from the hyacinths. As soon as the pool is cleaned, it's filled with bugs within 30 minutes. Same goes for the hot tub - and it's really just a lukewarm bath as no jets work (even though I specifically asked the owner if it worked prior to booking) and it doesn't get hot. The air conditioning doesn't work in any of the bedrooms - the owner is aware. So it gets quite stuffy as you can't open the windows due to bugs. They need to do general maintenance - the oven pulls out of the wall when you open it; the toaster only has one burner that works so it only toasts one side; the shower head in the master bath needs fixing - if you move it, water sprays everywhere; hot tub jets don't work; hot tub is barely warm; at night you need to keep the lights off and just have the fire pit going or there are bugs everywhere on the glass and flying around you - when you wake up, you'll be sweeping them off the deck because they stay on the windows and then die and fall off. Had I known about the bugs and broken hot tub, I would have never booked this place. It was more expensive than others due to being on the water and the amenities. But when the amenities aren't able to be used, it's a waste.

More than expected, refreshing. Lakeview was more than what I was expecting. It is extremely beautiful and has a refreshing look to it.

10/10 wegbreek! Wat 'n fantastiese wegbreek saam ons naaste vriende. Indien jy die geleentheid kry om by Lakeview Villa te bly, doen dit! Ons het so lekker gekuier, gebraai, geswem, pool gespeel, en soveel meer. Hulle het meer as genoeg om almal te vermaak en daar is meer as genoeg spasie vir elkeen! 10/10.
