Important Information for Your Stay at Lekkerbreek Lodge and Dinokeng Game Reserve North

Dinokeng Game Reserve North requires all guests to complete and sign an Indemnity Form. This form must be submitted via email 7 days prior to check-in.

Parents or legal guardians of all underage children are required to complete and sign a separate indemnity form for each child.

Guests are requested to provide a full list of all visitors (adults and children), including the number of nights each person will be staying at Lekkerbreek Lodge. This information must be emailed 7 days before check-in to ensure that guest allocation and conservation fee payments are correctly assigned to the booking.

Conservation Fees

Please note that conservation fees are not included in the accommodation price and are only payable directly to Dinokeng Game Reserve North via the official online booking system:

Guests will receive their conservation tickets through this system.

A once-off vehicle fee of R50 applies to each vehicle entering the reserve, including shuttles and transportation. Each vehicle must be registered individually, along with all passengers.

The DGRN conservation fees differentiate between two categories: SADC rates and international rates.

SADC Rates

Adult rate: R80 per person per night
Child rate (2 to 12 years): R60 per child per night

Day visitors are charged the same rate as guests staying for one night.

International Rates

Adult rate: R160 per person per night
Child rate (2 to 12 years): R120 per child per night

Day visitors are charged the same rate as guests staying for one night.

Payment and Entry Requirements

All conservation fees must be paid prior to check-in, and proof of payment must be emailed to info@lekkerbreeklodge.com
at least 7 days before arrival.

Guests are required to have their conservation ticket available at all times and must present it upon request at Dinokeng Game Reserve.

Housekeeping staff are available daily from 07:00 to 18:00.

Guests may purchase additional firewood from the owner or bring their own. Three bags of firewood are provided daily.

A conservation fee is payable to Dinokeng Game Reserve. Guests are advised to visit the official Dinokeng website for further details.

Guests must adhere to all road signs, directions, and regulations within Dinokeng Game Reserve. The speed limit within the reserve is 20 km/h.

Only registered game-viewing vehicles are permitted within Dinokeng North Game Reserve, and all passengers must remain seated at all times. Fishing is not allowed within the reserve.

Motorcycles and quad bikes are strictly prohibited within the reserve.

Due to the presence of the Big Five, guests are not allowed to leave the camp area on foot. Walking, running, jogging, and cycling outside the camp are strictly prohibited.

Guests are strongly advised not to enter or exit the camp between 21:00 and 06:00. Arrangements can be made in advance if access is required during these hours.

Feeding of any animals is strictly prohibited.

Guests must take extreme care to prevent fires within the reserve.

All guests are expected to accept and adhere to the house rules at all times.

The camp is not suitable for large gatherings, functions, or additional guests beyond the maximum occupancy.

Noise levels must be kept to a minimum at all times, with consideration given to nearby camps, especially when playing music.

Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed on the premises.

Guests are not permitted to make large fires in the fire pit. Braai coals must be moved to the designated area.

Fires may not be left unattended, especially during game drives, and must be properly covered using the provided drum.

All rubbish must be disposed of in the designated bins upon returning from game drives.

The property will be cleaned prior to arrival, and guests are expected to leave it in the same condition upon departure.
