House Rules

The following Conservation Fees (which do not form part of our prices) are payable to Dinokeng Game Reserve North's online booking system. Proof of payment must be sent by email to info@lekkerbreeklodge.com 7 days before check-in. Please use this link where your conservation card will be issued:

Please remember to bring your Conservation Card, which must be presented at the Dinokeng gate and upon arrival at Lekkerbreek Lodge.

- 1 Night Stay (Adult): R75 per night
- 2 or more nights stay (Adults): R75 per night, subject to a maximum of R300 per person per continuous stay
- Children 2-12 years: R50 per night, subject to a maximum of R200 per child per continuous stay
- Once-off fee of R50 per car. Each car must be registered separately.

A breakage deposit of R1500 is payable to the host, and proof of payment must be sent via email at least 7 days before check-in.

Please note that the property accommodates 12 guests. If any additional children are added, an extra fee will be payable to the establishment.

All guests must be escorted to and from the gates by the property representative.

The speed limit in the reserve is 20 km/h.

Guests are advised not to enter or leave the reserve between 21:00 and 06:00 due to the presence of the Big Five. Arrangements can be made should they need to enter or exit at alternative times.

Please note that the housekeepers are available from 07:00 to 18:00.

Three bags of firewood are provided daily. Guests may purchase additional firewood from the host or bring their own.

Game drives are available at an additional cost and are conducted by a qualified ranger, with a maximum of 10 guests per drive. For safety reasons, no children under the age of five are permitted. Guests must remain seated and quiet during the game drives for their own safety.

Only registered game-viewing vehicles are permitted on game drives in the reserve.

All rubbish must be placed in the designated bins upon returning from a game drive

Lekkerbreek Lodge is not suitable for large functions or additional guests.

No bachelor or bachelorette bookings are accepted.

Smoking indoors is prohibited.

Guests are not permitted to walk, run, jog, or cycle outside Lekkerbreek Lodge due to the presence of the Big Five.

Guests must comply with all road signs, directions, and rules within the Dinokeng Game Reserve.

Guests must exercise extreme caution to prevent fires in the reserve.

Guests should avoid making large fires in the firepit.

Braai grills must be moved to the designated braai area.
Fires may never be left unattended during game drives, and fires must be covered with the provided drum.

Noise levels must be kept to a minimum, with consideration for nearby guests when playing music.

Fishing is not permitted in the reserve.

Motorcycles and quad bikes are prohibited within the reserve.

Littering in the reserve is not allowed.

Guests are requested not to feed any animals.

No plants or wood may be removed from the reserve.

Pets are not permitted.

Guests visit Lekkerbreek Lodge at their own risk.

Please note that all guests are required to accept and adhere to the house rules.
