Longview Ranch forms part of a 2000ha cattle farm on the Mpumalanga escarpment. With Dullstroom only a 30 minute drive away. Amenities include trout and bass fishing in the farm dams, mountain biking, hiking and exploring the property at your leisure. Small game such as reedbuck, oribi, porcupine and monkeys abound. Accommodation comprises 2 stone cottages.
Kloof cottage nestles in the mountain folds and is situated next to a small dam with a natural overflow. It gives visitors the opportunity to relax and spend quality time together. This cottage has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom, the other bedroom has 4 single beds with a separate bathroom with shower. The cottage is fully equipped with quality linen and crockery. The kitchen has a gas fridge/freezer and gas plates, a stainless steel braai is provided and it has a fireplace. Kloof cottage is ideal for a couple or family.
Longview cottage is ideal for a couple or a couple with small children, it has an open-plan design with 2 fireplaces on either end. This cottage is very spacious and beautifully furnished, it has a queen-size bed. A sleeper couch can be utilised to accommodate small children. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge and freezer combo and gas plates, a stainless steel braai is provided. This cottage is fully equipped with quality linen and crockery.
All accommodation has battery powered lights. There is no Eskom electricity. All accommodation is serviced on request. High road clearance vehicles are recommended.
