Description
MacNut B&B is located 7 km from central Mbombela (Nelspruit) as well as Ilanga Mall, and a mere 10-minute drive from the MediClinic. It is the ideal place for guests looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a peaceful environment.
Accommodation is available for 7 guests in 3 separate rooms on the ground floor of the spacious main house, or 5 guests in a free-standing unit located on the property. The rooms can be booked separately or together. There is also a semi self-catering option available which is equipped with braai facilities, a 2-plate stove, frying pan, fridge and crockery.
Each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The spacious patio room has 3 single beds and a full bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The second room is equipped with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and a toilet. The third room is located outside with a separate entrance from the garden. Semi self-catering facilities are available for guests to prepare meals on the veranda. A microwave, frying pan and/or 2-plate stove can be provided. There is also a fridge on the veranda. Cutlery is available and dishes will be washed.
The 5-sleeper family unit is located separately from the main house. The open-plan unit is furnished with a double bed and 3 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and bath. In addition, the unit features an air-conditioner, bar fridge, microwave, and basic facilities to prepare a light meal or reheat food.
The leafy garden with a swimming pool is ideal for bird watching, relaxing and swimming. There is a walking trail down to the 2 dams with a variety of bird species.
Breakfast and dinner are available on request at an additional cost and has to be arranged the day before. Lunch packs are also available for those travelling to the National Park to Mozambique. There are braai facilities and a fridge on the veranda. There is ample secure parking for all vehicles as well as trailers.
