Description
Mont Rouge Cottages is located on a fruit farm and this accommodation has been in the family since 1928. This farm boasts charming cottages, an export fruit house and a wedding venue.
The self-catering riverside cottages are spacious and fully equipped with breathtaking mountain views. The cottages are practically designed and tastefully decorated. Bedding, towels, morning tea, coffee, sugar, and milk are standard features in both cottages.
Each cottage boasts its own Wood Fire Hot Tub and outdoor BBQ area, where many of our guests spend their time. Wi-Fi is available.
The property is tied to the grid, harnessing the power of solar energy and batteries. However, in the event of a two-day outage from Eskom and no sunlight, we may experience a power shortfall.
The property features a single communal pool, resembling more of a natural pond with water freely flowing in from the river and then back out again. It's ideal for cooling off during the hot summer months or using it as a refreshing cold plunge to soothe sore muscles.
We're conveniently located just 12 km from town, making shopping easily accessible. In the surrounding area, you'll discover numerous excellent wine farms to explore, ensuring there's plenty to keep you occupied. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of cycling and running routes to enjoy, catering to everyone's interests.
