Ouplaas Town Guest House is situated in Ottosdal in the North West Province. This sandstone house, built in 1917, is well equipped for guests travelling through the town which lies on the R507 between Hartebeesfontein and Delareyville, north west of Klerksdorp.
Guests have a choice of 5 unique guest rooms available with double or 2 single beds. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and is equipped with a fan, a heater and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The guest house offers great charm and a beautiful garden. Your hosts, Magdalena and Coert are known for their hospitality with style, and Magdalena’s love of music, people, interior decorating, and good food give a distinctive character and atmosphere to Ouplaas.
While there is not much at first glance, Ottosdal just happens to be the only town where the wonderstone/pyrophyllite is found and mined. It also boasts the oldest annual agricultural show in the province.
