Over Karoo Inn is located in Barrydale on the famous and scenic Route 62 which runs between Cape Town, Oudtshoorn, the Garden Route and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
Situated on the border between the Klein Karoo and the Overberg, Barrydale is the perfect place for relaxing and switching off. A comfortable overnight stop if one is travelling and the ideal base to visit the rest of the R62 villages and attractions.
Over Karoo Inn is within walking distance of interesting shops and a variety of restaurants. The Barrydale tourism information centre is just a stone's throw away.
In the near vicinity are the breathtaking Tradauw passes, hiking and mountain biking trails, a brandy cellar, wine tasting, craft beer, nature reserve, wildlife sanctuary, hot water springs and lots of fresh mountain air.
At Over Karoo Inn, there are 2 rooms with a queen-size bed each and a third room suitable for families with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds. Rooms have extra length beds with 100% cotton linen. There is a fan for the summer and a gas heater and electric blanket for the winter evenings in the Little Karoo. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.
The rooms feature a bar fridge, kettle, hairdryer, glassware and crockery, coffee- and tea-making facilities and hot chocolate to enjoy on the private patio while enjoying the views of the birds and the mountains.
