Spectacular ocean views, passing whales, and a perfectly equipped home. What an absolutely incredible getaway for our young family! Polka's Place No 78 completely exceeded our expectations. The location in Port Nolloth is simply perfect—right on the beachfront with the most spectacular ocean views. We spent so much of our time out on the enormous covered patio, enjoying a braai completely protected from the wind while watching the beautiful sunsets over the bay. The wildlife viewing was an absolute highlight for us. We were fortunate enough to see playful dolphins right up close, and even spotted distant whales passing by while relaxing at the house. Being able to just step out onto the wooden boardwalk to explore the rock pools and head straight down to the sand made the beach so accessible and fun for the whole family. The house itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and perfectly set up. Having a fully equipped kitchen and a separate laundry area (with a tumble dryer and washing machine) was an absolute lifesaver. A massive thank you to our host, who was absolutely top-notch. The warm hospitality, excellent communication, and attention to detail really made us feel at home. It’s a peaceful, magical seaside spot, and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Dee, jy was ons lig in die donker. Ongelukkig was ons sonder elektrisiteit Vrydag en Saterdag. Dee het vir ons 'n klein gasstofie gekoop en 'n keteltjie geleen sodat ons warm water kon kook. Dankie, ons waardeer jou!

A pleasant seaside cottage. Very pleasant and clean house, well kitted out. Thanks so much for the washing machine and tumble dryer! Nice chats with the hostess. The view from the stoep is spectacular. Will definitely return.

Peaceful and family friendly. A great place for families and anyone seeking a quiet, contemplative atmosphere. The facilities are basic but adequate, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Perfect for rest and reflection. I’ll definitely visit again.

Large old house with a great sea view. Would suit a family visiting the seaside. The venue is a large old house with a great sea view. It has all amenities with the exception of a dedicated braai area. The time that we were there, it was extremely cold and as the house has very large rooms, it was difficult to keep warm.
